Who We Are

The Tri-Campus Writing Program is an umbrella term used to describe the wide range of activities supporting academic writing at the University of Connecticut's Greater Hartford, Torrington, and Waterbury campuses. The Program consists of writing coordinators, Freshmen English instructors, and writing center tutors working together to provide consistent and effective instruction and support for writing. The primary goal of the Tri-Campus Writing Program is to link together the three most visible sites of writing instruction at UConn: Freshman English courses, W courses, and Writing Center tutoring. Our work, then, consists of promoting these links and developing a common conversation about the place of writing in students' academic development. The Tri-Campus Writing Program website aims to provide a central location for the information related to this work.

Please take a look around and let us know if you have questions or comments about the site.
